Exercise cues/tips:

  • Start in a tall kneeling position with a band tied up from a higher position behind

  • Have a ball between the knees and maintain a squeeze on such throughout the exercise

  • With both hands, pull the band from over one shoulder across the body in a chopping motion

Anterior oblique sling consists of:

  • External obliques

  • Internal obliques

  • Adductors

​

Exercise progression:

  • Perform in a split lunge position

 

Exercise regression:

  • Perform in supine with the knees at 90deg

​
