Exercise cues/tips:

  • Start with a theraband around the forehead tucked above the ears, attached to a firm surface directly to the side

  • Take a side step away in order to add tension to the theraband

  • From this position, you may either bring your ear to the furthest shoulder, or rotate to that same side

Muscle groups targeted:

  • Superficial cervical 

​

Exercise progression:

  • Add a chin tuck 

 

Exercise regression:

  • 4 point kneel chin tuck with lateral flexion/rotation

​
