Exercise cues/tips:

  • Start standing with a band tied in front at shoulder height, grabbing with the hand at the start of horizontal flexion

  • Have another band looped around the back of the same shoulder, pulled tight by the other arm pull this arm into horizontal adduction

  • From here, externally rotate the shoulder with the theraband tied in front, while maintaining tension with the band in the opposite hand

  • Rotator cuff

  • Shoulders

Exercise progression:

  • Perform as an oscillatory movement

 

Exercise regression:

  • Sleeper stretch
