Exercise cues/tips:

  • Start standing with a dowel behind the back gripped by one hand behind the back and the other over the shoulder

  • With the movement primarily coming from the top arm, pass the dowel through the hands all the way to the bottom, then all the way back to the top

  • Rotator cuff

Exercise progression:

  • 4-point swiss ball perturbation 

 

Exercise regression:

  • Shoulder IR/ER AROM
