Exercise cues/tips:

  • Start by positioning a few stacked icy pole sticks between the teeth

  • Using the sticks as a guide, slowly protract and retract the jaw

Muscle groups targeted:

  • Masseter

  • Lateral Pterygoid

  • Temporalis

 

Exercise progression:

  • Add more icy pole sticks

 

Exercise regression:

  • Use less icy pole sticks
