Exercise cues/tips:

  • Start kneeling against a firm supported brick or concrete wall

  • While rotating through the core, throw the ball against the wall and control the deceleration return back to the starting position *not demonstrated in this video

Muscle groups targeted:

  • Chest

  • Core

  • Shoulders

​

Exercise progression:

  • Standing side medicine ball throw +/- stepping pattern

 

Exercise regression:

  • Medicine ball swing and return without throw (as demonstrated in this video)
