Exercise cues/tips:

  • Start standing on an object of desired height

  • Drop off the object and land on a single leg

  • Focus on 'soft' landings as well as symmetry in the knee without collapse

Muscle groups targeted:

  • Quads

  • Glutes

  • Hip abductors

  • Ankle

 

Exercise progression:

  • Land onto foam or bosu ball

 

Exercise regression:

  • Jumping exchange sequences (single leg, double leg, single leg)
