Exercise cues/tips:

  • Start seated at the end of a bench resting with an EZ bar, using the inside grips​

  • Move to lying with the neck overhanging the bench, and bring the bar up overhead

  • Bring the bar back over and behind the head, keeping the elbows in tight

  • Then, extend the elbows by pushing the bar backwards, not bringing the bar directly overhead

  • Triceps

  • Core

  • Dumbbell skull crushers

 

Exercise regression:

  • Standing overhead skull crushers
