Exercise cues/tips:

  • Start in supine, either lying flat or sitting up

  • Have a short theraband placed around the feet

  • Keeping your legs flat on the ground, laterally rotate at the hip joint, and control the medial rotation to return

  • Theraband sidesteps

 

Exercise regression:

  • Side-lying clams
